West Mifflin Borough is located in Allegheny County Southeast of Pittsburgh and has a population of roughly 20,000 people. The Borough of West Mifflin is a mix of affordable residential homes, commercial, and industrial giants such as Bombardier, US Steel Mon Valley Plant (Irvin Works), and is home to the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, a naval nuclear propulsion technology research and development facility.
