South Park
South Park Township is a southern suburb of Pittsburgh with a population of just under 14,000. South Park Township is in Allegheny County and offers residents a dense suburban feel. A good mix of residential and bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and other retail businesses. South Park Twp. shares a large 2,013 acre park with neighboring Bethel Park. The park, known as South Park, features free concerts, a golf course, ballfields, wave pool, shelters, dog parks, skate park, trails, nature center, dek hockey rink, and an ice skating rink. The main road through the park is Corrigan Drive and is a popular place to walk and bike. The highly rated South Park Township School District includes South Park Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. South Park is also home of the Oliver Miller Homestead (Stone Manse) and we can't talk about South Park without mentioning the legendary Green Man's Tunnel.
