Jefferson Hills Borough is a growing community with mostly residential neighborhoods.  This community is South of Pittsburgh with major roadways of Routes 51, 885, Old Clairton Road, and Gill Hall Road. It has commercial and retail sparsely scattered throughout it's 17 square miles. The community has lots of green space, and Jefferson Hills maintains five community parks throughout the Borough. These parks offer a variety of amenities to include soccer, baseball fields, basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, playgrounds, a community stage, rentable shelters and community center. The parks total almost 50 acres and are Gill Hall Park, 885 Andrew Reilly Memorial Park, Beedle Park, Lobbs, Park and Tepe Park.  Jefferson Hills is home to Jefferson Hospital, with 341 private beds and nearly 400 physicians with expertise in more than 40 specialties also offering Spiritual Care and Behavioral Health Services.  The West Jefferson Hills School District operates 5 schools within the district which serves West Elizabeth, Jefferson Hills, and Pleasant Hills.  The district is highly rated and respected for its academic, athletic programs and facilities.  There are many types and styles of homes available in Jefferson Hills, many with large lots of 1 acre or more.  The community is experiencing well planned housing development with several new home developments to include Ryan Homes Washington Square and Patriot Pointe, both sold out.  The largest is the Maronda Homes Hunters Fields Community on both sides of West Bruceton Road built on the previous Barati Farm land.  Upscale new home construction communities in Jefferson Hills include Chamberlin Ridge, and Castors Farm predominantly Costa Home communities. View the area report for more detailed information about the current real estate market in Jefferson Hills Borough.
